It has a hose barb on one end for connecting to hoses and female National Pipe Straight Mechanical (NPSM) threads on the other for connecting to male threaded pipes or fittings. This fitting is made of iron for resistance to abrasion and wear and is plated for resistance to corrosion. The nut is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. The barbed fitting creates a tight seal on flexible and semi-rigid tubing when used with a hose clamp, crimp sleeve, or ferrule (not included). Integral nut for using a wrench to tighten the fitting. Item was brand new just as described No issues with the seller SHIPPING was horrible FEDEX said they delivered the package on Feb 13 but nothing was, FEDEX site showed a blurry picture of nothing that could have been identified…called customer service with no luck…filed claim online- next day FEDEX showed item delivered Feb 14 again no package no updated picture on site…package actually arrived on Feb 15 sometime. Suggestion PLEASE use an alternate shipper - Thanx
Paul in Customer Service was very helpful. Went out of his way to solve the problem on the lamp shade I ordered. I was sent a wrong size lampshade. In the end, I kept the small lampshade to use on another lamp. Paul credited my account for the difference in price between the one I ordered and the one I received. I was pleased with the outcome. The shipping time was very fast.
The items arrived very rapidly and in excellent condition.. the appearance was great. Value for the price was very reasonable. I have not plugged them in yet but quality appears to be in good condition. Items were boxed in what appears to be their original new boxes with original wrapping—extremely well packaged.
