Accurate driver control is achieved through a custom ferrite magnet system. For superior linearity, the magnet is surrounded by a large-diameter voice coil. A low-mass aluminum voice coil is used for quick, precise transient response. To ensure the ideal balance between weight, stiffness, and dampening, Dynaudio molds the diaphragm and dust cap in one piece with their proprietary magnesium silicate polymer.
