Very Good Condition Compatible With Spear Protective Inserts No PLATES Are Included SIZE X Large The Specialty Defense System Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System (CIRAS™) is now the armor carrier of choice for USSOCOM (BALCS-R). The CIRAS is designed to allow the end user to rapidly jettison the armor platform. This aids in ease of use during WMD Decontamination, access to a wounded officer, as well as Maritime Operations .The CIRAS vest incorporates a single release cable (Pat. Pend.) that makes the assembly process easier than it's predecessors. There are two versions of the CIRAS vest, the Maritime (CMS-MAR-CIRAS™) and the Land version (CMS-MC-CIRAS™). The Maritime version's cummerbund attaches under flaps that are on the sides. The Land version's cummerbund attaches under a single central flap. The CIRAS accepts SPEAR BALCS cut soft armor inserts, as well as a 10" x 12" SAPI or simililar rifle plate. Heavy-duty, abrasion and water resistant 1000 denier Dupont Cordura™ nylon exterior construction. 1" Mil. Spec. webbing cross straps for mounting MOLLE pouches. Detachable shoulder pads.
