The thread size of the 8AN is 3/4-16 UNF. Sealing: The AN thread of the flare is sealed at a 37-degree angle, and the NPT thread is sealed with a 60-degree taper. It is highly recommended to use sealant or PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) tape on the NPT port. Material: The fitting is made of 6061-T6 aluminium alloy. Parameter: The maximum working pressure is 1,500 PSI. The working temperature range is -40°F to 250°F. Application: The fitting is widely used in fuel systems to add a fuel pressure gauge or sensor between fuel lines.
