$ImageURL1$ Edelbrock RPM Dual-Quad Air Gap Intake Manifold for Chevy Small Block 7525 PART NUMBER: 7525 BRAND: Edelbrock DESCRIPTION EDELBROCK Performer RPM AIR-Gap Small Block Chevy Dual-Quad Intake Manifold Edelbrock Part # 7525 RPM Air-Gap dual-quad intake manifold is designed for 1955-86 S/B Chevys, this intake stands 1-5/8 taller than the low-profile C-26 intake and offers performance improvements in the 1500-6500 rpm range. The large runners feature our unique Air-Gap design that separates the runners from the hot engine valley for a cooler, denser charge. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood. INSTALLATION NOTES: • Manifold ht: A-4.57, B-5.20 • Carb pad height: 4.89 • Carb recommendations: Edelbrock AVS2 Series # 1903 and # 1904, 500 cfm. • Port exit dimensions: 1.16 x 1.92 • Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7201 • Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. • Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. • NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. • DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread. • Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. • H.E.I. will not fit • Carb center-to-center distance: 6-7/16.
