This is the Escape speaker P9. Slightly used This speaker retails in the UK at £1200 inc VAT. This is a bargain at £600 It is an App controlled Bluetooth/networked/cabled speaker with 360 degree sound output. It can be upgraded via a module (not sold here) to Airplay and Roon. It is water resistant with a huge battery life of 9 hours at full charge. The sound from this speaker is amazing. Think Hi-Fi sound for BBQ. The Escape ® P9 delivers superior sound quality thanks to five high-quality speakers equipped with an aluminum dust cap, optimized deep polypropylene (PP) cone, linear flat spider and a vented voice coil driven by a powerful magnet. The 20 cm (8-inch) subwoofer features a custom-designed composite fiberglass-reinforced basket to support the oversized magnet. The linear flat spider and vented voice coil ensure deep, powerful and accurate reproduction of the lowest frequencies. Two powerful 24-BIT DSP processors control the digital signal processing and various equalizer algorithms. The built-in audiophile amplifier with an output of 100 Watts RMS and frequency response of 20Hz-20KHz is fully tuned to the 5 speakers. The advanced bass management offers music lovers the ultimate audio sensation.
Top class seller, professional customer service, just how it shouild be, but rarely is, super quick delivery, ex comms, fantastic product, mellow straight from the box, exemplary fit and perfect finish, super comfy, minimalist packaging, the right way to do it, who wants to pay hundreds extra for a useless wooden box, laquered by virgins in Shangi La, (STAX SR009 anybody?) To sit in a cupboard, at this price what more do you want, brilliant deal, I wish I had more ears, I'd buy more!!!!
Slight glitch with click & collect but rectified quickly. Phones arrived quickly with all packaging intact & a wonderfull pair of phones. Very happy with the price & looking forward to fully running in but from the box they sound fantastic. I have wanted wooden open back phones for a while & these are great.
