This is a 62 Precision Bass that replicates the 1962 specifications. This particular bass was made in 1997. It features an alder body, a maple neck with a slab-cut rosewood fingerboard, and characteristic specifications such as reverse-wound tuning pegs and spiral saddles. While there are signs of use commensurate with its age, such as scratches, dents, and faded paint, there is no major noticeable damage. The bridge saddles have been replaced with Freedom brand saddles, which improve sustain. The capacitor is an orange drop. The sound is characteristic of this era, with a very rich low-midrange that blends well in an ensemble. The frets have about 80% remaining, and the truss rod has plenty of adjustment left. It weighs approximately 4 kg. It comes with a genuine tweed hard case (with rust).
