Description This is a 1993-1996 model, manufactured in Japan during the "N" serial period. The serial number suggests it was produced between 1993 and 1994, but since the model featuring the green guard and Texas Special pickups appears in catalogs starting in 1996, we classify it as a 1993-1996 model. This Stratocaster, equipped with the sought-after Texas Special pickups, is becoming harder to find. It is a replica of a 1962-era slab-board rosewood fretboard Stratocaster. The body is made of alder, and it features Texas Special pickups that provide a fat single-coil sound, perfect for blues and a joy to play. The nut width is approximately 42mm, and the neck grip is slightly slimmer. Repairs include replacement of the volume pot and strap pins. Cosmetically, there are some minor dings and scratches, but overall, it is in good condition for its age. The neck is almost straight, and the truss rod has been checked and works in both directions. The frets have about 80-85% remaining. It is currently strung with D'Addario 010-046 and has been set up.
