Description Michael Landau, who has played on countless albums over the past 40 years, is one of the most recorded guitarists in music history. Michael's guitar playing has been imprinted on the works of many artists, including James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Michael Jackson, Rod Stewart, Miles Davis, Boz Scaggs, Pink Floyd, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Bonnie Raitt. Throughout his session work and solo career, Michael has relied on his 1959 Stratocaster, nicknamed "Coma," as not only his work tool but also his best friend, supporting him in his activities. When Michael found the Coma at a local guitar shop in Los Angeles at the age of 16, it already showed signs of modification, with the body paint having been refinished and the pickups replaced. The Coma recreated in the Fender? Stories collection represents the guitar as it exists today.
