Fisher SLIM 1500 Portable CD Player AM/FM Stereo Radio Tested WORKS with Quirks This listing is for one preowned Fisher SLIM-1500 Portable CD Player and AM/FM stereo radio with detachable speakers. It does not include a remote control. It has been tested and it works, but it has a few quirks (see full condition details below), so it is priced accordingly. Please see all photos and the video as they are part of the description. Condition: Preowned, good overall condition, NO REMOTE, tested and works but has a few quirks. CD Player and AM/FM Tuner both work, but after you turn on the unit and select Tuner mode, the volume continually rises by itself. It fixes after you adjust it down a few times or switch to the CD player and then switch back. When I was testing it, there was a small amount of static noise, but it went away when I put my hand near the back of the machine, so I suspect it's just a matter of interference which someone smarter than me might know how to handle. It also seemed to just go away in general by itself after about 10 minutes of music. It's not that noticeable anyway. The unit runs on a power cable but can be powered with batteries, and the little plastic clip that holds the battery compartment door closed broke off (but it stays shut anyway).
