This is the first edition, first printing of Foundation. This is denoted by the first edition statement in the copyright page and the galaxy symbol on the front board. The dust jacket is a facsimile. This copy comes with a laid in postcard signed and typed by Isaac Asimov. This postcard is from 1961, much earlier than most I’ve seen from Asimov. The card will be placed in between the Mylar and front jacket flap. This copy is in very good condition, with strong binding and clean pages. There are some stains on the boards and some very minor writing in pencil at the end of the book.
