Description
Vintage Frankoma Pottery square planter featuring the desirable Red Bud interior glaze paired with a Desert Gold exterior. This piece dates to approximately 1949–1954, produced during the Ada clay era (pre-fire era before the Sapulpa clay transition). The planter is unmarked, which is typical for many early Frankoma pieces of this period, especially smaller forms and test-glaze items. The interior features a rich, deep reddish-purple “Red Bud” glaze, while the exterior shows the classic warm matte Desert Gold finish. A beautiful example of early midcentury Frankoma art pottery. Perfect for use as a planter, desk accessory, shelf décor, or addition to a Frankoma collection. Height: ~4.5 in Width: ~4 in
Packed really securely. No way item would break. The piece is even nicer than depicted online. Money well spent.
