Filming officially began on October 23, 2017 and concluded in July 2018. Tormund and Beric, who survived the destruction of the Wall, encounter Edd and several members of the Night's Watch at House Umber's castle, whose occupants have been killed by the Army of the Dead, before finding a message from the Night King.
