Found behind stash of luggage when getting ready for late sister’s Estate sale. This had been my mother’s house and many of her things had not been removed when my sister moved in. My mom died in 1997 age 87. She traveled a lot but hadn’t traveled in years so I’m guessing it’s from the eighties. I feel it’s authentic, as she only went on elite tours and I’m sure was taken to a legit store to shop. It looks like she bought it, wrote her name on ID card, brought it home full (2 other Gucci pieces, etc) and never used it again. Brass lock ( rusty on inside-picture), key and ID cover all in tact. Navy and red ribbon, leather (a little wear on fold/pictured) and fabric in excellent condition. Interior tag with number on underside. My mother’s name and address on back of luggage tag “Gucci” paper. White paper tag on key fob-have no idea what it means. All in all-an amazing price of vintage Gucci luggage! 20 1/2 x 14 1/2 x 9 inches (Listing handbag that matches that I’m sure was bought at same time. Also listing a navy leather purse (very used) that my sister’s notes say her husband bought for her on a trip.)
This was an excellent experience, item arrived sooner than expected, was packaged very well, item was exactly as described and looked just like the images provided. The seller sent the doll excellently package with plenty of cushion paper for any bouncing around that might happen in transit. Everything was exactly as described and shown in the sellers photos. I couldn't be happier would buy from the seller again.
The "Isalnd Beauty" Hibiscus cup and saucer in orginal box is gorgeous. They described it perfect. Shipping was fast. I will be buying off the seller again.
