This meter measures the TDS of the tap water (in) and the TDS of the product water after the RO Unit (out), allowing you to judge when filters/resin requires changing. These commercial grade meters come complete with batteries with a 2 year life, and a self adhesive bracket for mounting on the front of your RO unit. Full instructions are also included, and 1/4" push fittings are also supplied. Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total weight of all solids that are dissolved in a given volume of water, expressed in PPM (Parts Per Million). By using a TDS meter, you will quickly be able to determine the quality of your Reverse Osmosis water, before adding it to your aquarium. A TDS meter is a vital piece of equipment if you are using a Reverse Osmosis unit with a deionisation chamber. If you are not using a TDS meter, you may be throwing away DI Resin which is perfectly serviceable. On the contrary, your DI Resin may be long exhausted, allowing contaminants to be leached back into the pure water. Our free post option usual takes around 2-3 days to arrive with Royal Mail. We also offer a 1st class postage option, which is usually a next day service if your order is placed before 3pm. If a next day guaranteed service is required, Royal Mail Special Delivery can also be selected at the checkout, and this will ensure the item arrives the next day before 1pm. Returns Returns We hope you will be extremely pleased with your purchase from us, however, if you are unsatisfied or change your mind about a purchase, we have a 'no questions asked' returns policy. All customers are entitled to a refund of the item amount paid minus actual postage costs. We do, however require all products to be returned to us within 60 days, at the customers cost. Please ensure an appropriate level of compensation insures the item whilst in transit, as we can't accept liability for losses of returns in the post. Once we receive the item back in its original condition, We will then refund the item amount minus our postage cost paid.
