The expiration date is the end date of HP's warranty and not the end date of the cartridges printing capability. The HP 952XL ink cartridge is designed for longevity, and when stored correctly, last for a very long period. We don't keep a page count so the older cartridges may produce a few less pages but our staff doesn't sense any difference in the frequency of replacement and the print quality has been no different than a cartridge with an unexpired date. We have kept all of the 2022 expiration cartridges for our own use and are offering the rest in this and several other listings.
