Hand Painted Egg Ornament Rooster Flowers Folk Art European Style Hanging Easter. So I am guessing Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Czech, Hungary made?. I am also just guessing that it is made from wood or a wood like composite. It feels solid. I believe it is hand painted. There is a tiny bit of paint loss at the top where the ribbon is placed (see top view photo). This is a sweet vintage egg shaped ornament that features a colorful design that includes a rooster and flowers on a blue background. It has an Eastern European folk art look to it. So I am guessing Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Czech, Hungary made? I am also just guessing that it is made from wood or a wood like composite. It feels solid. I believe it is hand painted. It comes with a white ribbon that is fed through the center of the ornament and ties at the base. It measures approximately 2 1/4 inches tall and is about 1 1/2 inches long/wide. Ornament is in good vintage pre-owned condition. Does have some light surface wear consistent with age and years of use. There is a tiny bit of paint loss at the top where the ribbon is placed (see top view photo). Would be great for Easter, Christmas or everyday display.
