Description

EARLY Lens Helios 44 2/58. The Helios-44 lens was produced as a standard lens for the Start camera at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant from 1958 to 1964. The original bayonet mount of the lens was not used in other types of photographic equipment, both in the USSR and abroad. All these lenses were equipped with a pressure diaphragm, the drive of which, when mounted on the camera, was combined with the shutter release button. Almost all "Helios" for the "Start" diaphragm consisted of 13 blackened petals, with the exception of the latest series with 8 petals. All lenses were produced only in "silver" version, and regardless of the number of aperture blades, they are considered one of the best versions of "Helios-44". Rare early example with 13 aperture blades! The lens has an optical scheme Carl Zeiss Biotar 2/58. MOUNTING FOR STARTING CAMERA CH - 0049930 Made at KMZ Suitable for SONY CANON FUJI and other cameras through the appropriate adapter.
