This vintage James Bay parka is made with 100% virgin wool with colourful embroidery and appliqués of snow shoes and dog sled imagery. This blanket coat is thick and fully lined with red quilted 100% nylon. It has a faux-fur trimmed hood, a large two-way zipper and two front pockets. This unique jacket was likely made for use in the northern Arctic. Made in Quebec, Canada. The coat has some light wear (eg. loose threads on quilted lining, light wear on wool fabric in areas of high friction) but is in great vintage condition for its age with no stains or flaws.
