But its nature and process have been seriously understudied in biological anthropology and primatology. This book is the first ever comparative investigation, across primatology, biological anthropology, and social anthropology, to look critically at this key research practice. It is also an innovative way to further the comparative project within a broadly conceived anthropology, because it does not focus on common theory but on a common method. The questions asked by contributors are: what in the pursuit of fieldwork is common to all three disciplines, what is unique to each, how much is contingent, how much necessary? Can we generate well-grounded cross-disciplinary generalizations about this mutual research method, and are there are any telling differences? Co-edited by a social anthropologist and a primatologist, the book includes a list of distinguished and well-established contributors from primatology and biological anthropology. 2. Received item as described and packaged well. Listing indicated shipping was free. Ordered on the 7th but by the 14th noticed it hadn’t been shipped yet. Seller responded quickly saying that during the purchase process that it said it would not be shipped until the 22nd because they use a fulfillment house. I don’t recall seeing anything about delayed shipping during the process or in the listing. While I appreciate the prompt response to my inquiry, other buyers should be aware of delays.

  3. THIS person is a fine eBay seller! • The item was ordered Feb 6, 2026 & received on Feb 17. • It was well packed, & arrived perfectly. • Shipping time: DECENT. • Item: New, as described. • I recommend this seller, & HOPE TO buy from them again. . [And I decry how eBay has taken to erase my descriptive Feedbacks each time, forcing me to save these words in Notes, and retrieve it for editing, for each successive detailed feedback submission. DO YOU SEE THIS, EBAY?!]
