Jordan Motorsports “XIII JKT” Development Sample Leather Jacket (with tag: NOT FOR RETAIL) – Size L – Rare Prototype produced in 2005 for the 2006 Joe Rocket / Jordan Motorsports production run. Up for sale is an extremely rare Jordan Motorsports leather motorcycle jacket, size Large, featuring a verified “Development Sample / Not For Retail” tag inside. This is not the more common production jacket. Its a pre-production prototype/sample created during the development and showcase phase before the 2006 retail run was brought to market. The interior tag reads: "OUTER SPACE SPORTS, Development Sample – Not For Retail” Model No: MJ0611 XIII JKT Date: Oct 21, 2005 "sample" is also written inside the collar in gold pen This jacket has standout Jordan-era design details including a bold “Motorsports” branded interior, unique patterned lining, and premium construction throughout. It’s the kind of piece that almost never surfaces in this condition. But as a pre-production jacket unused, with the original sample identification intact, this jacket is truely rare. Note: This jacket has mixed “Made in Korea” and “Made in China” tags. This is common on developmental/sample or early-run garments where the shell, emblems, and liner/components were produced in different facilities and assembled together. It is over 20 years old and has not been worn, but due to age and the nature of the finish, the jacket sheds a small amount of sand-grain sized white fragments when handled/moved. This appears to be the breakdown of the finish layer over time (common in specialty coated or intentionally distressed leather items of this era), and it may continue, this is part of the condition. ✅ No major structural damage noted ✅ Zippers function ✅ Great display piece / collector piece Please review ALL photos carefully and consider this a collector/display item or a careful-wear piece.
