K17 1880-1920 ANTIQUE BROOCH Silver 835 Sapphire & Garnet 27 mm 1.1 Inches WW1. After the WW1 (1914-1918), this style of brooches were not produced anymore. One 835 silver brooch NOT stamped. I could not find a stamp but a professional silver acid test was made. Result: 800-835 silver. Item can be returned for a full refund if dissatisfied. Both loved silver jewelry and together collected an incredible amount of jewelry pieces for more than 100 years. Made in the 1870-1920s and this brooch is a very interesting historical artifact. There was a war between France and Prussia in 1870-1871 which united all of the small kingdoms, Bavaria and Prussia with the state of Germany.
