But under a good strong light, it is definitely dark blue. It measures approx 14 1/4" across from outside handle to handle, 9.5" wide x 5.5" deep. It's perfect for cooking up your favorite recipes. This two-piece set includes a lid and weighs 9 lbs 9 oz. Compatible with induction, electric, and gas stove types, this KitchenAid Dutch oven/casserole is a must-have for any cook. The interior porcelain enamel surface does not require seasoning. Warms evenly and holds heat. Basting dots on the lid interior keep food moist. Oven safe up to 500°F/260°C. Chip Resistant Ceramic Dishwasher Safe Microwave, Oven, Freezer Safe Nice pre owned condition. The inside is clean. The outside bottom and lid edge shows a little staining from use. Very minimal.
