LARGE 19TH CENTURY BRONZE INKWELL – VICTORIAN ERA – WARRIOR'S HEAD DESIGN – ZOOMORPHIC & FOLIATE MOTIFS – DOUBLE PATINA This exceptional one-piece bronze inkwell is a true statement piece, reflecting the elegance and bold imagination of 19th-century Victorian craftsmanship. The inkwell is decorated with intricate plant (foliate) and zoomorphic motifs flanked by crowned mythical heads on both sides , adding a regal and mysterious character to its presence. It stands proudly on four claw-shaped legs attached to a solid round base , and features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a n ink tank inside. The piece is finished with a double patina —a combination of bronze and silver tones that highlights the ornate detailing and adds rich depth.
