Extreme heat above 85 o F and cold temperatures below 55 o F can kill the mealworms. We recommend that our customer hold the package at the post office when the temperature is above 85 o For below 55 o F if no one will be available to receive the delivery. I will provide the option to hold at the post office. If you choose not to hold at the post office have someone at home to bring them inside immediately after delivery. I will not be responsible for any dead mealworms if mealworms are not brought inside immediately. Due to factors beyond my control, I can only GUARANTEE LIVE delivery when you choose hold at post office . If you choose this option and still have any problems, please contact me within 24 hrs of receipt with pictures of the mealworms. If you chose not to hold at the post office and have any dead on arrival, please reach out to me with pictures no later than 1 hour after delivery of the mealworms. Any other issues please reach out to me no later than 24 hours after delivery of mealworms. Orders will be processed for shipping on Mondays and Thursday.
