Not fit LT1 5.7L engines (1992-1997) How to use: Simply thread the tool into the crankshaft until it seats,then tighten the nut down until the pulley is seated. Using the original bolt to press the harmonic balancer back on is a really bad idea. Dont do it. When using the original bolt the stress is on only a few threads which can lead you to ruin your crankshaft threads. When using this tool you simply thread the tool into the crankshaft, slide the washers on, then turn the nut to press the harmonic balancer back on to the crankshaft. All of the stress is on all of the threads of the crankshaft instead of just a few. Remove tool and install and torque original bolt. This is a simple tool that you can use over and over again and works awesome.
Tool came in quick, but had an issue with it so reached out to seller and almost immediately was given option for another tool or full refund. I asked if I needed to send the tool back and they responded already refunded not necessary to send back. Service is impeccable highly recommend.
