The sconces are richly ornamented with elegant Rococo and Louis XV inspired decorations and feature a warm aged brass finish with exceptional detailed casting. In my opinion, these wall lamps have a very noble and authentic antique appearance. The beautifully curved arms, floral bobeches, lattice and leaf ornaments, and the elongated decorative backplates give the sconces a strong presence and a luxurious old-world charm. Especially the detailed ornamentation and the sculptural shape of the backplates make these sconces look far more expensive and refined than many modern reproductions.
