Description
Late Victorian pressed brass brooch about 2" each way, with good detail and an enigmatic subject. It's a charming and intimate scene; to me, it looks like one of the participants has a butterfly-like wing (one visible), and the other one gets along like the rest of us. Old if not original pin with 'C' clasp; unsigned. Old surface; I'd leave it like this. Excellent condition. *Feel free to ignore any Item Specific that seems especially silly, irrelevant, inappropriate, or redundant. eBay frequently adds things without consulting the seller, and which I don’t always catch. Expecting help from eBay Categories? Good luck. I always ship the business day after I receive payment, and pack multiple purchases together to save on shipping. Buyer pays actual USPS postage; there is no handling fee, and I pay for all packing materials. By clicking on “Shipping and Payments,” you can check the postage before you bid . Printed material containing advertising – even old, obsolete advertising – cannot be sent Media Mail. *I don’t know why eBay says I don’t accept returns; I have tried to change that on the listing: an item may be returned if it is substantially different from how I have described it. I will pay return postage. Because of the new rates, and because it now includes insurance, I am going to use Ground Advantage for everything. Sometimes it’s a little slower, but the bottom line is it’s cheaper , sometimes considerably. Postage is based in part on distance; I am shipping from Arizona. Thank you for looking, and for wading through the fine print. I will leave Feedback to let you know your item is on the way.
