Thank you for looking! This is a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Generation 3 Ultrabook in well above average condition for a used laptop. It features a brand-new full HD IPS display (1920 x 1080) with no hot or dead pixels, the legendary back-lit ThinkPad keyboard, a new battery, and speakers that actually sound very good when I crank up the latest hits. This laptop runs the latest version of Windows 10 Pro perfectly and will be ready to use by its new owner, right out of the shipping box. Note: this ThinkPad X1 Carbon does NOT have a standard Ethernet network port. However, it does have a small "Ethernet extension connector" port on the ride side and I am including a Lenovo Ethernet Adapter that goes into that port into which a standard Ethernet cable can be plugged. Refurbishing Long story short, I replaced the motherboard and then I installed several new parts: a high-end IPS LCD panel, a new Kingston NVMe SSD, a new Lenovo battery and a new red TrackPoint Cap. As always, I also applied a fresh coat of MX-4 thermal compound to the CPU and cleaned the computer inside and out. After that, I installed Windows 10 Pro 22H2 and all available driver and system updates from Microsoft, Lenovo, and Intel. Finally, I thoroughly tested the computer including the battery and all ports. Battery Notes Most sellers on eBay do not take the time to test batteries, but I always do a full rundown before I offer a laptop for sale. The battery I installed in this computer is brand new, holds 120% of its design capacity, and will run the laptop for about 5 hours, depending on use of course. For sake of completeness This laptop is not new and does show some signs of prior use: There is a small piece broken out of the fan grill on the right side, some of the keys have light shine, and there are a number of minor scuffs on the case and top cover. However, these imperfections are all purely cosmetic and do not affect the operation of the laptop in any way.
