We are Glad to Combine Multiple Items to Save Shipping Fees Description: It is an authentic 115 year old Antique Wood block Print from Frank Leslie's Famous Leaders and Battle Scenes of the Civil War (New York, 1896). Frank Leslie was perhaps best known for his documentation of the Civil War in his Illustrated Weekly Newspaper that chronicled the war. The best of these illustrations were reissued in combined volumes and histories after the war. He sent artists to the battle fields to sketch the events, which were then brought back to his printing company where they were cleaned up and turned into illustrations. The print is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single sheet as seen in the first pic. Overall, a very nicely preserved print that would frame up well! Size: The entire page measures 6 1/2 by 12" (16x30cm) Condition: It is in Very Good to Excellent condition, with other illustrations or text on the reverse, very clean and well preserved on a bright page, see the pics for more on condition. The pics are of the actual print. Shipping: We only charge one nominal shipping fee and do combine additional maps or prints at no extra costs and gladly refund extra shipping when purchased individually and shipped together. For multiple purchases it is best to use the ebay cart system which will automatically calculate the correct shipping when multiple maps are purchased at once and there is free US domestic shipping on 5 or more maps. International rates apply elsewhere. The map is placed in a plastic sleeve, anchored to a stiff brown paper for support and to prevent edge damage, then shipped in a heavy duty wide shipping tube.
