This rare Limoges teacup and saucer set is an antique gem from France, dating sometime between 1908-1914. The set was likely made in the Mavaleix factory in the Limoges region under Paul Maurice Mavaleix (PM de M) and then imported by George Borgfeldt (Coronet) who operated a company in New York that imported goods from art studies in the Limoges region. The exquisite set is embellished with vibrant hand-painted red and yellow roses, skillfully rendered with meticulous detail. A delicate gold gilt border adds a touch of elegance, perfectly complementing the vivid floral motifs. Lush green foliage enhances the overall composition, harmoniously blending with the captivating hues.
