Description
This is a Lionel 8215-T15 Sound of Steam and Whistle PCB board (with the speaker) used in the Lionel 784 Boston and Albany Scale Hudson. It will also work with the 783 and 785 Hudson. It was removed from the locomotive after being tested for functionality. It comes with the bracket to mount it onto the tender to prevent shorting. This bracket is an upgrade over the foam tape used in the 783 Hudson. The speaker was cut off to facilitate removal, but it can be soldered on quite easily. The red leads from the board were left in place. Small yellow leads protrude from the board-- those are the leads for the switch. To bypass the switch, solder them together. Any questions? This Lionel soundboard works perfectly and adds great steam and whistle effects to compatible Hudson models. The included mounting bracket is a nice upgrade over foam tape, and the board is ready to install—just solder the speaker back on. A great replacement part for any enthusiast!
