He went on to explain that the items with shipping and E-Bay fees made it a loss for him. In the past, I have had auctions I won very cheaply. They (there were two separate ones) didn't send the items and when I opened an E-Bay complaint, they just refunded the money instead of taking a "loss." This seller sent the items.
