In the mid-2000s, with vehicles of the MAZ-5432 (4 × 2) and MAZ-6422 (6 × 4) families, which are leaders in terms of production, drive axles ensured by blocking the cross-wheel differential, and the new front axle now withstands loads of up to 7 tons and provides the steering angle to 45 degrees.
