Description I have recently had the privilege of purchasing some of the best Folk-Art Pottery in North Carolina! The pottery was all hand made by Mike Ledford owner of Joe’s Lake Pottery in Shelby, North Carolina. Mike is an extremely creative potter as each of his pieces are different. The glazes he uses are beautiful. He is for sure one of the most unique and desirable potters around! I have this spectacular Mike Ledford Folk Art Pottery Face Jug up for sale! This face jug’s glaze is the most beautiful mixtures of blues and greens dripping down and all around the jug. It certainly makes a statement! This face jug also has great black bushy brows, blue eyes, distinctive ears and pronounced nose, but most important, his bright red tongue sticking out!! What a hoot!! It has a great ear shape handle that connects to the spout. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS! This terrific one-of-a-kind face jug measures approximately 12” tall x 6 ½” wide. It is in MINT condition. All of Mike’s pieces are made by hand. It is signed Mike Ledford on the bottom. This is an incredible piece of FOLK-ART POTTERY; one that is a must for your collection!
