The metals used are brass, nickel alloy or pot metal base metals electroplated with gold or silver tones. This keeps Monet jewelry affordable while still giving the elegant appearance of fine jewelry. This offering is a Dragonfly pin in the original box. The wings appear to be mother of pearl with natural iridescence that changes color according to the light and the fabric on which it is pinned. These photographs were taken under artificial light.
