New MOVADO KENNY SCHARF Artist Series MOVADO TIME Watch Limited Edition 38/125 This eBay listing is for a New Old Stock classic Movado Artist Series by KENNY SCHARF watch set that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. This watch is brand new and comes with the original leather wrapped box, colorful Kenny Scharf designed outside box, original warranty card, paperwork and extra black leather watch band - just in case you don't like the original band that is on the watch now. This is a very limited edition watch number 38 of only 125 made. The battery inside had expired from age so it was replaced. The original Movado Artists' Series was launched in 1987, inspired by some of the company's watches that are in collections in some of the world's leading museums. The Series contains commissioned, limited edition pieces designed by artist Kenny Scharf. Kenny Scharf presents six stunning graphic dial designs to the Artists' Series. The Series contains six watches named Blurple Time, Movado Time, Universal Time, Starring the Star, Time Flies, and Ontime. Each Kenny Scharf dial design is framed in a simple round stainless steel case featuring a custom-engraved case-back. Every timepiece includes two interchangeable leather straps that play off of colors found in the dial. There are a total of 125 pieces of each of the six watches made in the series. These watches range from $695 – $3,495 when new. They have a museum face steel case, sapphire crystal and Swiss quartz movement. I believe that this series came out around 2010.
