This drive is preloaded with the MacOS High Sierra (10.13.3) operating system. It's the complete OS and there aren't any limitations. Simply, install it in your laptop. You can easily unscrew the bottom cover and screw in the hard drive. If you want a video tutorial let me know. This hard drive is a HOT SWAP hard drive. All you have to do is install it and power it on. That is right; no technical experience needed! No mounting screws are included. I highly recommend that you have at least 8GB of RAM in your MacBook, though.
