Mahogany plant stand with barley twist details and 1 triangular shaped small drawer - one drawer is missing. This solid dark wood pedestal could also be a candle stand, wig stand or basin stand for shaving, or could be used to display a sculpture, statue, vase or jardiniere. Vintage preowned item. Exact age and maker are unknown. Estimated early to mid-20th century. Only a tiny mark or two here or there attributed to age, gentle use and storage. Nothing that detracts from function or beauty. It is solid and sturdy. No loose joinery. The drawer is functional and was finely crafted. Measures approximately 33.5” tall. Top measurements: flat center area is approximately 8.5” in diameter. Overall diameter, including the trim edge around the top measures approximately 10.675”. The footprint of the tri legs measures approximately 14.5” side to side across front and approximately 13” front to back. The only issue found other than one missing drawer, is a chip on one platform to one leg (shown in photos). Please examine photos and ask questions before you bid. Thank you.
