Second purchase of this item. Gave first one to my son. There are other inflators that allow you to start and leave the object being inflated (such as Rigid or Milwaukee). This is, in my view, more convenient than having to hold the button to inflate until the cycle is complete. However, most of my cordless tools are Makita and I have plenty of batteries so it made sense to stay with Makita.
