The volume consists of the famous lecture course Introduction to the Phenomenology of Religion, a course on Augustine and Neoplatonism, and notes for a course on The Philosophical Foundations of Medieval Mysticism that was never delivered. Heidegger's engagements with Aristotle, St. Paul, Augustine, and Luther give readers a sense of what phenomenology would come to mean in the mature expression of his thought. Heidegger reveals an impressive display of theological knowledge, protecting Christian life experience from Greek philosophy and defending Paul against Nietzsche. 2. Received item as described and packaged well. Listing indicated shipping was free. Ordered on the 7th but by the 14th noticed it hadn’t been shipped yet. Seller responded quickly saying that during the purchase process that it said it would not be shipped until the 22nd because they use a fulfillment house. I don’t recall seeing anything about delayed shipping during the process or in the listing. While I appreciate the prompt response to my inquiry, other buyers should be aware of delays.
