Medieval Reenactment Helm Heavy Steel with Opening Face Plate 13th c. design. Classified as "used" but we just displayed this heavy steel Medieval Helm with open plate design believed to copy a 13th c. design. This along with the other items listed separately were never used in combat or reenactments and were only put on display for attendees to examine. This replica medieval Helm is one of several reenactment weapons that we used during book signings and lectures on Scottish Medieval History, many at Scottish Games. The images were used in our books on 13th and 14th century Clan Douglas, beginning with the Douglas Trilogy, My Truth Lies in the Ruins. Helm is approximately 11" high, 10" long in the base with a 9" wide on top of helm.
