Nice high-polished design to this yellow gold-plated vintage New Old Stock watch buckle with the most common 16mm opening where it attaches to the strap. Replace that modern buckle on your watchband with an original vintage buckle that is New Old Stock from the 1960s/70s. Great classic styling. Sharp notch for the tang. Has 16mm opening that is common on the buckle end of many bands that are lug sizes 16mm, 17mm, 17.5mm, 18mm, 19mm or 20mm where they meet the watch. Has spring bar fitting that opens to fit the band on, which is very easy to do. Gold content is not marked but it is gold plated. Top to bottom clearance for the strap is 8.6mm so this will work with even medium-padded straps.
