Specification: FITS 2017 THRU 2014 DODGE CUMMINS DIESEL 6.7 Pressure Relief VALVE for the fuel system on the Dmax Valve will cause hard starts, lack of power, and poor fuel economy, The pressure relief valve is a valve located in your fuel rail designed to limit rail pressure to avoid damage to your injectors. Once it "sees" enough rail pressure, it will bleed off and return the fuel back to the injection pump to be recycled back into the system. Because this is a simple spring valve, it will lose its memory and begin to start bleeding off prematurely, not allowing the rail to build adequate pressure, in turn meaning the injectors are not getting adequate pressure. Many will take the option to simply block off the relief valve, which definitely works, but it does mean that you are removing a built-in safe guard from the factory.
