This listing is for a rare NOCH Z scale suitcase layout featuring a summer landscape , original Märklin Z scale track , and a steam locomotive with two freight cars . This layout is a unique one-of-a-kind piece , originally created as a special demonstration model for a historic toy fair and later further enhanced by a partner workshop in the Black Forest (Germany). Overview This NOCH suitcase layout measures approximately 50 × 37 cm and represents a European alpine foothills summer scene with village, church, station, swimming lake, tunnel section, and extensive scenic detailing. Unlike standard NOCH suitcase layouts, this version features a fully developed tunnel route , allowing the train to run over the mountain and through it , not just around it. Unique Origin & Story The base layout was produced using high-quality structural hard foam technology and then individually expanded and upgraded as a trade-show demonstration layout . Additional scenery, buildings, figures, animals, trees, and village details were sourced directly from NOCH near Stuttgart and professionally installed in the Black Forest , making this layout far more detailed than standard production models. Technical Condition After careful import from Germany, the entire suitcase was professionally restored and upgraded : New high-quality speed controller with excellent slow-speed performance Completely renewed power supply and internal wiring All building lights checked and fully functional Integrated battery / accumulator compartment Optional connection for an external power supply Everything works perfectly and has been fully tested.
