This stunning contemporary clear art glass piece measures 11 inches in diameter and 5 inches in height, sitting on its free-form, unique abstract base, which is a matte gold color. The base is made from Nambé's proprietary alloy, the removable bowl is made of art glass, and the two pieces come in the original box for safekeeping. If Miss Suzy were less accident-prone, she would hang onto this very cool piece herself! The bowl is designed as a centerpiece but could be used in many other ways, right off the top of my head I would say fruit bowl in the kitchen, decorative bowl for office, guestroom, or bathroom, an eye-catching statement piece for your entryway or foyer... The base looks absolutely brand-new. The bowl has very minor scuffs that don't really even show up in the photos, and certainly don't jump out at me; I had to look hard to notice them, and I am picky. There are naturally occurring, very tiny air bubbles, which is why I say art glass. Slight irregularities are part of the artisan appeal. From a foot away, none of these things are noticeable.
