The Rolling Stones Goat's Head Soup 1973 COMPLETE WITH RARE OBI STRIP & INSERTS This is a superb copy of an original 1973 Rolling Stones Lp. With ALL inserts included!! Catalogue number: W 59101 Matricies: Side 1: 59 (etched) COC-59101-1 (stamped) With 29/8/73 xxx'd out and replaced with etched 24-6-75 Side 2: 59 (etched) COC-59101-2 (stamped) With 29/8/73 xxx'd out and replaced with etched 24-6-75 The Vinyl: 116g EX. I gave her a gentle vacuum clean and listened to the album, all the way through. She is in lovely condition-I have just listened to her all the way through and certainly was not disappointed-very, very nice sound reproduction, just a little occasional dust and static-with some very small, light marks, that's all...The audio was clear, with some light background crackle in the run-ins -but once the songs got going-BANG-rock n roll!!! FLAT, HEAVY AND SHINY TURN HER UP-I DID :) The Labels: EX+/NMint! They are beautiful canary yellow Stones labels in EXCELLENT+/NEAR MINT condition...Only carry one incredibly light spindle mark, which is only visible when angled towards the light and really looking or it! Strangely has made in Italy in the rim text..?... NO writing 1st pressing labels Official stamp to side 1-I think this was for tax purposes.. MAGICAL The Gatefold cover: EX. With just minor rubbing to the front and back.....She has been stored lovingly for all these years...The edges have some light rubbing, as does the spine, but I did not find any splits anywhere. She is the very 1st pressing, being unlaminated and made from heavy card. The Tongue in the bottom right corner has the "TM" next to it on the back panel. With the inner gatefold picture having the "....PRINTED IN JAPAN." Text to the left gatefold. The spine remains STRONG & LEGIBLE, but with some light rubbing. Corners are still incredibly strong. NO SPLITS NO WRITING NO FADING The Goats Head inner: NEAR MINT-no need to say anymore! The Lyric Inner: EX+ too!...Just a very small bit of rubbing of 2cm to one side..Again-no need to say anymore. ALL ORIGINAL So, all in all this is a rare JAPANESE pressing, with the heavy card GATEFOLD copy and with all inserts present too....Not forgetting the ulrta rare OBI strip too! SHE HAS BEEN VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER FOR 51 YEARS!
