ORIGINAL ISSUE 78 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car 1/25 Model Kit Some assembly was started but is expertly done. MPC Stock #1-3710 Some pieces were removed from trees but not damaged. The parts to make the "custom version": side pipes, headers, wheel covers, CB, and custom front bumper are missing. Half-shafts are also missing but can easily be made from a section of the trees. Engine halves, Cylinder Heads and Timing Chain cover are neatly glued together and painted factory correct GM colors. Notice the Oil Filter is "AC Delco Blue" but the Engine is "Corporate Blue". Black parts are "satin" just like the real thing. In addition to the engine, the following parts were assembled and do not need to be touched: Seats Rear Differential Carrier "Batwing" Front and Rear Bumper Covers Front Wheel Hubs (wheels will spin freely when completely assembled) Those are the only issues that keep this from being "open box" condition. You're getting basically a new kit for a fraction of what others are selling for. I'm just starting to thin out my 40+ year collection of model kits, promos and toy cars and will combine multiple purchases to save you postage.
