So being aware of my surroundings and oncoming cars is a big concern, and my old earbuds while great at blocking out noise are also a safety hazard at times.The first thing that I noticed when putting them on was how light and comfortable that they are to wear, and makes them great for running as I am barely aware that they are there. These are air conduction in that they as speakers that blast sound into your ears, which is great for comfort and situational awareness, however is bad at noise isolation if outside noise overpowers the music - but that is an acceptable tradeoff for safety reasons.Two minor inconveniences that I've noticed are the plug for the recharge port is on the bottom and falls out easily while running, but its so small that it's barely noticeable unless I get caught running in a rainstorm which then may lead to water intrusion and damage. The second issue is the touch controls, which in the absence of a button requires me to hold down for 5 seconds to turn on and off, however its more like 10 seconds, and because of the absence of a button if I don't touch it just right then nothing happens and I wonder if it will even turn on at all. But for the low price, I won't complain too much about these inconveniences. 2.0 out of 5 stars Good until.... 25 Aug 24 They worked great for exactly a month. Then the button to turned off started to act out. Then out of nowhere it kept turning on and off, I had to end my run with no music. This is crazy! I've had to return to my Skull Candy earphones while I wait half a day for this to recharge, so I can use it for a few more hours before recharging it. I was to discover that these are very comfortable and feel secure while running or biking. Because I run and ride on busy streets, it's nice to have those on-the-ear versus in-the-ear. I can hear my surroundings a bit better because of it. The battery life of the headset is good enough for a full day. I've taken a couple of phone calls with the headset and the folks I spoke to said my audio was pretty clear and I was able to hear them clearly.There are no physical buttons on this headset. Everything is controlled by tapping the right-side headphone. While listening to music, a double-tap advances you the next song. Triple tap takes you the beginning of the song. When it comes to volume control, you have to adjust it on the actual phone itself. I have an Apple phone and it does respond to Siri by pressing the right-side for about 2 seconds.If you're in the market for descent, inexpensive open ear headphone set, the LeMuna headset are definitely worth considering. 4.0 out of 5 stars Lightweight and Comfortable 26 Jul 24 I?ve used a set of open-ear headphones for a few years now and all that time, my husband insisted that he preferred using his massive wired set. At least he did until one day recently when he had to wait for 2-3 hours while I had a lengthy medical procedure. I set him up with my wireless headset and began streaming his favorite news, and he was suddenly sold! When I offered to order this headset for him, he was really excited!The first detail to cover, this pair is open ear but not bone conduction, but it fits around the ears in exactly the same way. Instead of the sound being directed to the bony area near the ear, the tiny speaker is positioned directly over the opening of the ear. Initially the sound wasn?t very loud, and I?ve found no sound control on the headset itself, but simply repositioning it resulted in the sound coming through loud and clear. There is no obvious button for operating the headset, it simply requires pressing on the center of the right earpiece for different functions such as turning on/off, using it for phone calls, pairing and unpairing. Very simple. And I need simple because my husband has no patience for bells and whistles. This headset is perfect for him. He mostly listens to his news shows but occasionally listens to music and for tiny speakers, the quality of sound is remarkably good. It arrived with a very short charging cord, but will require a usb charge block.I never expect big bold sound from tiny ear phones, but this set was really better sound quality than I was expecting. Be aware, there is no case or carry pouch included. Typically when using a headset such as this, though, I either keep the set around my neck when not in use, or I?ve used a silicone magnetic hat clip (allows a hat to be clipped to backpack or outside of a bag), to keep it secure. There is also an inexpensive travel case, designed for a different brand, available on Amazon, that would fit this set.For under $24, this little headset is a great way to listen to music wirelessly and very comfortably! Bluetooth worked fine, but you could not use the volume control and you would have to listen at full volume! The LeMuna headphones do work with Walkman's. They hooked up easily. All button functions worked, and you can vary volume with the Walkman's control. There is no volume control on the headphones. LeMuna's also worked well on an Android phone. They came charged at 90%. Charging is done through a USB-C port. You don't have to keep track of a dedicated magnetic charging cable. The sound is okay. But wait, doesn't the description state "premium sound", "superior sound", "deep bass", and "immersive audio"? To put it politely, these are false hopes. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable for air conduction headphones that retail for $23.99. You can't expect the best sound from a miniature speaker outside of your ear. You can expect the headphones to be very secure. They won't fall off in your workout like your audiophile $300 true wireless earbuds can. 5.0 out of 5 stars Great For Working Out 20 Jul 24 I mainly got these to use for working out. I like to run outside but as such I need to be able to hear my surrounding for cars, other people, etc.First of all, they aren't kidding when they say these are light. They are surprisingly light. Which makes them great for running. They do take a little bit to get adjusted. These are air conduction headphones (not bone conduction) so they are essentially just little speakers pointed down into your ears. However, the sound is still pretty good. I'm far from an audiophile but the quality is great for me for running and seem to be pretty good.Pairing was easy and the touch button on the side is fairly easy to navigate. It took me a little bit to get the controls down. It is a little confusing as one button press is pause/play while a 1.2s hold is the voice assistant. I kept getting the voice assistant while running when I was just trying to pause it really fast.They are rated for IPX4 waterproofing which means sweat from working out or splashes of water. I never had an issue with my sweat or light rain so far.They do also state in the manual they carry a so there is peace of mind. Overall these are great headphones for working out or everyday use and I have enjoyed using them. 3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but not great for small ears 13 Jul 24 These headphones are comfortable and stay on, but the positioning of where the speaker is doesn?t work well for smaller head/ears. Of course you can hear what?s going on around you when the speakers are well past the concha. If I line it up, the sound is nice and ideal, but the loop no longer rests on the top of the ear. As soon as I move, they fall back into their natural place where the sound is basically playing ?behind? my ears rather than ?into? my ears.
