Put the car in gear, chock the front wheels, jack up the car's rear and support it on axle stands. Remove the wheel. Remove the shock absorber top mounting nut/bolt(s). Loosen and remove the mounting bolt(s) at the bottom of the shock absorber. Remove the shock absorber from the wheel arch. Fitting is a reverse of removal, making sure you tighten the mounting nut/bolt(s) to the specified torque rating. Note: You may be required to compress and remove the coil spring .
